Cartier New York Art Deco, platinum and diamond convertible sautoir consisting of three seperate and detachable geometric link bracelets and a stylized butterfly motif pendant. The necklace has approximately 36.00 carats total weight of old min cut diamonds. This wonderful example of Art Deco Cartier jewelry was sold in the May 15th 1995 Antiquorum Important Jewellry & Rare and Exotic Gemstones Auction Sale. The lot notes state that this piece was accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Cartier stating the necklace was made by Cartier in the 1920’s. The original Antiquorum action catalog is included.
